Shouts heard for 30 minutes after Eltham attack

After the altercation in Eltham Hill in Greenwich history( January 1) at 2.30 am, a man is seen on the ground with three people girding him. 

Officers discovered a man in his 50s with injuries to his arms, body, and head at the point. 

After being brought to the sanitarium, it was determined that his injuries were neither life- hanging nor life- altering. 

This passed following an attack by a group of males, according to the Metropolitan Police. 

For about thirty minutes, there was” lots of shouting,” according to one viewer. 

They continued:

“There was someone laying in the road and the people standing made their way from White Hart to this person.

One must have called police and ambulances. Within five minutes there were at least five police vehicles and two ambulance.

There were like 15 police officers, and the person on the floor was put into an ambulance van.”

As of right now, no arrests have been made.

A spokesperson for Met Police said:

“Police were called at 02.26hrs to Eltham Hill, Eltham, following reports that a man was attacked by a group of men.

Officers found a man in his 50s at the scene with injuries to his head, torso and arms.

He was taken to hospital where they were deemed to not be life-threatening or life-changing.

No arrests have been made and enquiries continue.”

What injuries did the victims sustain in Eltham?

A serious assault passed on Lords Ground in Eltham, South East London, in the early hours of January 1, 2026, egging a Met Police disquisition. substantiations reportedly heard crying for nearly 30 twinkles during the attack near Mecca Bingo at the Eltham Hill junction. 

Officers discovered him at the lords Ground scene shortly after 1 am on January 1, 2026, following reports of crying. No further victim details, similar as identity or condition updates, have been released pending the ongoing Met Police disquisition. 

The attack by a group of men remains under inquiry with no apprehensions reported. The scene stayed cordoned off into January 2 amid substantiation appeals.
