Jamaica Blue has officially opened its new Bexleyheath café, bringing its premium coffee, vibrant all-day dining offer and relaxed café experience to Broadway Square, while creating a welcoming new space for local people, shoppers and visitors to enjoy.
The opening represents a strong vote of confidence in Bexleyheath town centre, creating 15 new jobs locally, supporting the local high street and marking £300,000 of investment in the area.

Founded over 30 years ago in Australia, Jamaica Blue takes its name from the world-renowned Jamaica Blue Mountains, home to some of the finest coffee beans in the world. These premium beans sit at the heart of the brand’s speciality coffee offering, complemented by a fresh, made-to-order menu featuring indulgent brunch dishes, gourmet sandwiches, lunch meals and handcrafted cakes and sweet treats.
The successful launch marks another milestone in Jamaica Blue’s continued UK expansion, reflecting the brand’s commitment to investing in key retail and town centre locations and contributing positively to the communities it serves.
Michael Johnson, Head of Franchise Development at Foodco UK, said:
“We’re delighted to officially open the doors to Jamaica Blue Bexleyheath and welcome customers to experience our speciality coffee, fresh brunch, lunch and sweet dishes and relaxed café atmosphere. This has been an eagerly awaited opening for the town, and we’re proud to be investing in Bexleyheath, creating valuable new employment opportunities and offering a warm, welcoming place for the local community to meet, work and enjoy great coffee and food.”
