A new weekly farmers market is set to launch in Peckham on Saturday 2nd May 2026, bringing a carefully curated selection of some of the finest food producers to South East London.
Peckham Farmers Market, located at The Belham Primary School on Bellenden Road, will run every Saturday from 9:30am to 3pm, with over 25 handpicked traders offering a standout mix of produce rarely found in one place.
The launch was originally scheduled earlier this year but was postponed due to unforeseen issues. With those now resolved, the market is set to open, following strong anticipation locally.

Positioned as a true one-stop shop for the weekly food shop, the market will feature:
- Naturally grown, organic, and biodynamic fruit and vegetables
- Fresh day-boat fish
- Grass-fed, free-range meats
- Exceptional cheeses and charcuterie
- Freshly baked organic bread and pastries
- Antipasti including olives, dips, feta, and sun-dried tomatoes
- Boutique wines and drinks
- A lineup of some of London’s most sought-after street food traders
Among the traders launching are some standout producers. Wild Country Organics, an award-winning fruit and veg farm, will bring an exceptional range of produce grown in unheated glasshouses — including over 40 varieties of tomatoes and multiple types of pak choi, all picked specifically for market day to ensure maximum freshness.

Picks Organic Farm will offer certified organic, grass-fed meat and poultry, with a full nose-to-tail selection of cuts, alongside sausages and bacon. Astons Bakehouse will bring their much-loved organic breads and pastries, including their standout rye.
For cheese and charcuterie, The French Comté will showcase an exceptional selection from four different ages of Comté to classics such as Morbier and Mont d’Or, alongside duck specialities including magret. Vintage Cheese will offer a carefully curated range of British cheeses.
Completing the offering, Thee Olive Tree will present over 30 varieties of marinated olives, alongside a wide range of antipasti, including hummus, harissa, tapenade, pestos, artichokes, and sun-dried tomatoes. Chalk Stream Trout will bring sustainably farmed British trout, raised in crystal-clear chalk stream waters, known for producing fish with a clean, delicate flavour and exceptional quality.
All produce is sourced directly from farmers and producers, ensuring exceptional freshness, seasonality, and quality, with a range that goes far beyond the supermarket shop.

Alongside its food offering, the market will create a lively weekend atmosphere, with seating, live music, and space for visitors to eat, drink, and spend time, establishing itself as a new Peckham staple.
