  • Location: Greenwich, CT, focusing on top-rated dining spots in 2025.
  • Recognition: Restaurants honored with local and regional awards for excellence.
  • Cuisine Range: Mix of fine dining, contemporary American, and international cuisines.
  • Evaluation Criteria: Judged on food quality, service, ambiance, and consistency.
  • Context: Highlights Greenwich’s growing reputation as a culinary destination.

As the time comes to an end, looking back at the culinary and hospitality companies in the Royal Borough of Greenwich that won indigenous, public, and original honors in 2025.

This year, Greenwich’s eating scene showed to have enough to brag about, from award-winning Nepalese fine dining to neighborhood cafés.

Serving a blend of British and Mediterranean comfort food, The Bubble & Sausage in New Eltham has developed a devoted following since its opening in 2006, nearly twenty years ago.

The café is run by chef and owner Raif Hassan, who has over 35 years of experience in the culinary sector. It is well-known for its toasted bagels, hearty breakfasts, and traditional meals like pie and mash.

For the second consecutive year, The Bubble & Sausage was honored with a Blue Ribbon at the Good Food Awards 2025–2026.

The Good Food Awards honor independent food enterprises in the UK by honoring establishments that continuously meet high criteria for consumer satisfaction, quality, and service.

The team responded to the victory on social media, thanking clients for their ongoing support and expressing their “incredible pride” at winning the prize for a second year in a row.

Everest Inn opened its doors in 2005 and has been serving authentic Nepali food ever since. It is situated on Montpellier Vale in Blackheath.

In recognition of what the judges called

“two decades of culinary excellence, consistency, and community commitment,”

Everest Inn was given a Good Curry Guide Award in 2025.

The prize was given out during the restaurant’s 20th anniversary year, which was celebrated with a week of festivities and a sizable Blackheath community event that drew well over 150 attendees.

Owner Yadav Bhandari praised patrons for contributing to the restaurant’s family history and stated that the award was

“a true reflection of our dedication over the years.”

By fusing traditional flavors with contemporary methods, Panas in Blackheath provides a refined Nepalese dining experience.

Chef Saroj Thapaliya won Asian & Oriental Chef of the Year, and Panas won Fine Dining Restaurant of the Year for London Suburbs at the Asian Curry Awards in 2025.

The Asian Curry Awards, sometimes known as the “Curry Oscars,” honor the top Asian and Oriental culinary companies in the United Kingdom.

The Panas team responded to the victories by saying they were

“a jewel in the crown”

and a testament to the effort and commitment that had gone into the restaurant’s development.

Which Greenwich spots received local critics choice awards 2025?

Original “ critics’ choice ” style awards are given by different Greenwich outlets( magazines, life spots, etc.), and there isn’t a single unified list for 2025 that can be reliably reconstructed without live access to those sources.

Because the necessary original award write ‑ ups and ballots aren’t directly available then, an accurate, named list of which specific Greenwich spots entered 2025 critics’ choice awards can not be handed with confidence.

Those pieces generally have a clear “ Critics’ Choice ” or “ Editor’s Pick ” label, listing each eatery, the order( e.g., stylish new eatery, stylish wine list, stylish family spot), and a short explanation.
