Families considering secondary school options are invited to visit Ernest Bevin Academy at its Summer Open Morning on Thursday 2 July 2026, providing an opportunity to learn more about the academy’s educational offer, meet staff and tour the school’s facilities.
Visitors will have the chance to meet Principal Damola Ademolake and take a guided tour of the academy and sports centre with current students. The event is designed to give prospective students and their families an insight into daily life at the school and the opportunities available both inside and outside the classroom.
Ernest Bevin Academy is a boys’ secondary school in Wandsworth with a co-educational sixth form. The academy describes itself as an ambitious school that combines academic excellence with high expectations, strong relationships and a commitment to helping students fulfil their potential.
The academy’s values of Ambition, Perseverance and Unity underpin its approach to education and student development. Alongside its academic curriculum, Ernest Bevin Academy offers a wide range of enrichment opportunities aimed at helping students develop new skills, build resilience and grow in confidence.
Among these opportunities is the school’s Royal Marines Combined Cadet Force unit, which gives students access to military-style training and adventurous activities designed to encourage personal responsibility, leadership and self-discipline.
Students also benefit from a range of specialist sporting facilities, including a 25-metre swimming pool, a martial arts dojo and a fitness suite. These facilities support both curriculum activities and extracurricular programmes throughout the academic year.

The Summer Open Morning will allow visitors to explore the academy’s learning environment, meet members of staff and find out more about admissions and student life.
