“It would be a dream to play for one of these clubs, whether it’s Barcelona, PSG, Real Madrid, or Manchester United.”

He emphasised that he works hard every day to attract interest from these top sides, saying,

“I think I’m working towards that. I strive every day to one day attract the attention of one of these clubs, because for me, it’s a dream to get there.”

However, Munoz clarified,

“I don’t have concrete information that any of these clubs are interested in me. My focus is on Crystal Palace.”

He is mindful of the upcoming winter transfer window but remains fully focused on his current commitments with Palace and the Colombian national team.

Has Munoz previously addressed his transfer hopes?

During the summer transfer window, as covered by Win Sports TV, Munoz expressed similar ambitions. He stated,

“I want to play for the best teams in the world. But they haven’t spoken to me directly.”

His determination is clear:

“I dream and work every day to achieve it, and I hope it can happen as soon as possible. I hope it’s in this window, but if not, I’m very happy at Crystal Palace.”

These comments came shortly after Munoz signed a new contract with Palace, in which he affirmed his commitment, saying,

“From day one, I felt the energy on the field at Selhurst Park – now, it’s my home.”

How has the Crystal Palace leadership responded to Munoz’s status and contract?

Crystal Palace chairman Steve Parish hailed Munoz’s commitment and influence. Parish told Football.London,

“This is fantastic news for Crystal Palace. Daniel is the epitome of an excellent professional, giving his all in every match and training session. He has made a great impact since arriving in South London last year, and I am delighted that he has chosen to commit his future to the club.”

Similarly, Palace manager Oliver Glasner praised Munoz’s qualities and impact in an interview with Football.London. Glasner said,

“Danny Munoz embodies the passion and spirit of the team. He’s so professional and always plays at a very high level. Also, he knows he has to improve a few things.”

He gave an example:

“When we conceded the third goal after half-time at Manchester City, he opened up the gap inside, which he’s done two or three times this season.”

Glasner added,

“It’s great to have him. Since he arrived, he’s had such a good and positive impact on the Crystal Palace performance. Having these kinds of players in the squad is what you wish as a manager. He’s very reliable and always available. He has four goals and eight assists as a wing-back, so it’s very positive.”

Munoz has been ever-present for Palace and is considered instrumental in their recent progress.

What has Sky Sports pundit Jamie Carragher said about Munoz?

Earlier in the campaign, Jamie Carragher publicly labelled Daniel Munoz as “the best wing-back in the Premier League.” This strong endorsement elevated the defender’s profile and contributed to the heightened transfer speculation around him.

What does the future hold for Daniel Munoz?

While the Colombia international remains committed to Crystal Palace for now, the possibility of a transfer — potentially as soon as this winter — is open. Munoz himself when interviewed by AS Colombia reflected realistic optimism:

“We’ll see when the winter transfer window gets closer. Right now, I’m totally focused on these two matches with the national team.”

Should clubs like Manchester United, Barcelona, Real Madrid, or PSG move to make a concrete approach, Munoz’s ambition suggests he would welcome the opportunity. Until then, he continues to demonstrate professionalism and influence at Palace, making him a key figure in their squad and a player to watch in the Premier League.
